Financial Reflections

Arizona is known for the saguaro cactus, the Grand Canyon, and heat.  Lots of heat.  But there’s much more to the state, including lots of work.  There are many big tech companies that are based in Arizona, or have big operations there.  That’s not to mention the jobs in health care, retail and a variety of other professions.  So without further delay, let’s see who’s hiring now…

Who’s Hiring in Arizona?

• GoDaddy – Best known for its outrageous commercials, GoDaddy has been providing low-cost domain names for years.  It also has been rated one of the  “The Valley’s Best Places to Work” for four years.  There are many jobs available in around Arizona and even outside the state at the time of this writing.  Check their career page for more information on who they’re hiring now.
• Banner Health — Health care is one of the industries that’s hiring now, and Arizona has proof of that.  Phoenix-based Banner Health is one of the largest employers in the state and employs thousands.   A search shows dozens of jobs available right now both inside Arizona and around the US.  Be sure to check their careers page to get the latest positions.
• Honeywell – This aerospace firm is based outside the state but employs some 10,000 in Arizona alone.  Their jobs page showed many jobs after a search on “Arizona” in the search field.   They have careers ranging from engineering, manufacturing, information technology to marketing and sales.  Check to see what careers they are hiring for now.
• Intel — If you’re using a Mac or a PC, chances are pretty good your computer has an Intel chip inside.  They are a long time leading chip manufacturer and there’s no signs that’s going to change anytime soon.  By the looks of their job site, they have openings in Phoenix right now for a variety of careers.
• Bashas’ Supermarkets — This chain also has Food City and AJ’s fine foods.  They hire people from retail staff, to corporate staff in their Chandler, AZ corporate headquarters, distribution center, pharmacies and more.  Check their careers page to see who they are hiring now.
