What’s in my Wallet?
14th February 2006
I read an article in Free Money Finance where the author disclosed the contents of his/her wallet and invited others to do the same. Well, I just so happen to have my wallet out, so here it goes…
Credit Cards:
- Bank Card A (now CANCELED)
- Bank Card B
- Bank Card C
Why I am still carrying the other two is beyond me. My rationale is that they both have balances on them. I need to cancel them.
Other Cards/Stuff:
- Debit Card
- Two insurance cards. Ditched to old one for the new one.
- Two bulk shopping cards
- Community association card. Lets me get into pool, etc.
- Smart card for company cafeteria.
- Key from Vegas hotel from our last stay. (cheap souvenir)
- Very worn receipt for 9 holes of golf.
- Doctor’s business card.
- Empty gift card (why am I carrying that?)
- Movie theater loyalty card.
- Some card for entering a radio show contest (likely expired)
- ATM receipt from last deposit
- Driver’s License
- NO CASH - I actually have some in my pants pocket. I’ll move it now. I think it was Jeff Foxworthy who said you can tell someone is a redneck if they have to pull wrinkled up bills from their jeans pocket.
That was a great exercise. I cleaned out a few things and canceled a card.
