Bank With Wachovia, Make $25
Here’s a chance for you to save money and make money at the same time. I was looking at my Wachovia online banking account and saw that they are offering $25 for opening a new checking account. I’ve used Wachovia for a while now and it’s worked great.

Checking account = credit inquiry
not worth it to me, unless I’m planning to use it full time.
Would you be denied a checking account based on that? I guess if you have a history of bounced checks.
Even if they do query your credit, I’m not sure how it could negatively affect your credit score, especially in the long term.
